[Pain & Suffering]

(The cameras start filming as Tommy Daniels sits down with Melvin Gates. Maxx Pain and Sam Suffering stand behind Tommy, with their arms crossed over their chests. Melvin smiles at the camera.)

Melvin: Good afternoon RCW fans, once again I am with Tommy Daniels. Mr. Daniels, thanks for sitting down with me today.

Tommy: Just make it quick Gates, we've got to get to the gym.

Melvin: Alrighty, then let's jump right into it. This past Southern Dynamite saw Pain and Suffering getting quite threatening towards Bettie Lee Rose in the ring, do you condone their behavior?

(Tommy laughs as he shakes his head.)

Tommy: Of course I support their actions Melvin.

Melvin: How can you be so OK with how they treated Bettie?

Tommy: Let me ask you this, did Bettie get any harm done to her?

Melvin: No, but only because the SuperFriends came down to the ring and saw to it that she was safe.

Tommy: And we all witnessed what those two fools got for their efforts, didn't we?

Melvin: We also witnessed Pain & Suffering high tail it out of the ring the second Doug Gavelon and Nate Sipes came out to help HERO and the Human Spider.

Tommy: What's your point Gates?

Melvin: My point is, Maxx and Sam can intimidate a poor young woman and beat up on a team who you refer to as a “bunch of masked fools” but when a real challenge steps up to face them, they run away.

Tommy: Live to fight another day, it's as simple as that.

Melvin: So you don't think your guys are the slightest bit nervous in regards to having to step into the ring against Gavelon and Sipes at Southern Dynamite 37?

(This comment causes both Maxx and Sam to start heading straight for Melvin, but Tommy motions for them to back off.)

Tommy: I'd advise you to watch your words Melvin, they won't always listen to my lead. Now in regards to them being nervous, I've never heard anything so ridiculous in my entire life. Maxx and Sam aren't afraid or nervous of anyone because they know that there isn't a team on God's green Earth that can poss a challenge for them.

Melvin: We're talking about a former Natural Champion and the current Natural Champion... both Doug and Nate know what it takes to win the big matches.

Tommy: And trust me, they will know exactly how to lose big matches too. Pain & Suffering are ready to destroy them and advance to the finals of this Hog Wild Tag Team Title Tournament.

(Melvin pauses for just a moment to look over his notes.)

Melvin: Last week we saw you coming out of Havoc's locker room, you claimed you were just taking care of some business. Do you care to share what that business was?

Tommy: Isn't it obvious Melvin? I wanted to learn more about Doug Gavelon, what makes his tick? What are his weaknesses? What are his strengths? Who better to go to for those answers than Havoc? I was getting the information we need to be victorious at Southern Dynamite, along with making a very fair deal for it.

Melvin: What kind of deal?

Tommy: Havoc gave me all kinds of great bits of info, not only about Gavelon but regarding Sipes also. In return I promised him that Maxx and Sam would leave most of Doug for Havoc to finish off at Hog Heaven.

Melvin: What does that mean?

Tommy: It means that Doug is safe come this tag match, our focus is going to be solely on Nate Sipes. “The Purest” is in for the hardest and most painful night of his career. I've heard Supreme and Jacobs talking about possible challengers for him to face for his Natural Title at Hog Heaven, well let's just say Nate may not be in any condition to defend that belt any time soon.

(Maxx and Sam laugh sinisterly as Melvin's eyes get wide.)

Melvin: Are you saying here and now your plan is to take out the Natural Champion?

Tommy: You'll find out come Southern Dynamite Melvin.

Melvin: You think Doug is going to just sit idly by while Pain & Suffering attempt to do that?

Tommy: Doug can put up a great front and claim he is completely focused on this match and helping his team to advance, but I think it's fair to say we see through his lies. His mind isn't on this tag match, it's on Hog Heaven and his career threatening match against Havoc.

Melvin: I believe Doug can focus on the task at hand just fine.

Tommy: That's why you're an idiot. When you've got such a high stakes match looming in the distant future, you're mind can fully focus on anything else. Everything he has worked for could all come to a bitter end at Hog Heaven, compared to that possible reality... this tag match means nothing. Maxx and Sam will prove that Nate is on his own in this match, and he will be just another victim in their path of destruction.

Melvin: I don't agree with you about Doug's ability to focus but I guess we will see as Southern Dynamite 37 quickly approaches. We are out of time, see you next time folks.

(Tommy shakes his head as he gets up and walks off with Pain & Suffering as the camera fades out.)

[Doug Gavelon]

[The camera fades in on Doug Gavelon and Nate Sipes. The two men are standing next to each other; Doug on the left and Nate on the right. They’ve just finished another training regimen. As the sweat drips down their faces and their glistening muscles, Doug begins to speak.]

DG: You know, coming from a guy with a history of this sort of thing, this may sound kind of hypocritical but it needs to be said. It really sickens me that everybody today in wrestling thinks they can get away with bullying and mistreating women. Pain & Suffering, just because you stuck something in your arm and ballooned up, you two mental midgets think that gives you the right to prey on the small, the weak, the naïve. Despite your attitude, your hopes for victory, much like your b*lls, are about to shrink significantly. The second you step into the ring with us, you’ll realize that you made a big mistake in doing so. Like Mel said during your interview: you’re facing two men who’ve reached the top in RCW. We know what it’s like to fight and claw our way for championship gold; unlike you. We’ve experienced the sacrifices needed to capture championship gold; unlike you. While Nate is still on top, I have fallen off and that means that I’m THAT much more determined; unlike you. Pain & Suffering, at Southern Dynamite, we will show you two fools that you’re in way over your head.

[Nate steps up and Doug pats him on the shoulder.]

NS: As for your strategy, boys, it’s a flawed one. Do you really think that two weightlifters playing wrestlers could take me out? I don’t think so. I’ve been wrestling longer than you’ve been “enhancing” yourselves. I’ve traveled the world in both amateur and pro competitions more times in a year than you two ever will in your lifetime. I’m a pure wrestler, I’m the RCW Natural Champion and I have no problem accepting any challenge; one hour contests, hardcore slugfests, or perceived two-on-one fights. You two will do no permanent damage to me and you will not limit me from defending my title in the near future. Once my cousin and I prove our dominance over you, we will prove our dominance over RCW by becoming the first ever Hog Wild Tag Team Champions. The 7 Day Army will control almost all of the gold in RCW with Phil’s hostile takeover of the Southern Heritage Title a minor inconvenience. After we end his reign, we will allow RCW to grow as a company where truth and justice reign and sc*m and villainy is easily defeated.

[Doug wipes the hair from his face and steps, once again, into the foreground.]

DG: All of this will happen with one simple victory: our victory over you, Pain & Suffering. We will use this as our last stepping stone to absolute power. As far as your association with Havoc, let me say this: the 7DA and I have already dispatched of his previous stable so don’t think we won’t do it again to you. If you’re truly an associate of his now, prepare for the downfall that comes with it. And if you think that lowlife sc*mb*g’s pathetic attempts at survival worries me then you have another guess coming. Right now, I have my eyes set on history. The history that comes with being the first ever at something. At the end of this tournament, the record books will forever show that the first Hog Wild Tag Team Champions were Doug Gavelon and Nate Sipes. It will say that while they faced a few bumps along the way that they proved their dominance over the other teams. Pain & Suffering, you are but a minor bump in our road. You can either lie down and accept your fate or be run over. At any rate, you will be defeated and we will advance.

NS: So, Pain & Suffering, you can bring all of your intensity, all of your strength, all of your steroid-enhanced abilities and you will see them count for nothing but a damaging defeat. As far as that pipsqueak of a manager, I hope that Mr. Daniels is at ringside for this because he will have the best seat in the house. He will see that his team is a second-rate team and a couple of second-rate wrestlers. You will all see just what happens when you mess with an army that refuses to quit.

[The camera man cuts as Doug and Nate each grab a towel to wipe themselves down. Nate looks around the locker room before speaking out.]

NS: So, where’s Tiffany at today?

DG: She said she wasn’t feeling too good. I guess it’s the change in season or something.

NS: That’s too bad. She’s making more and more progress every time she trains with us.

DG: I know. I’m sure she’ll be fine though.

[The two men throw their towels into their bags and pack up their belongings. They pick up their bags, proceed out of the locker room and into the parking lot.]
