So I just made a few calls and discovered something that slightly frustrates me... I'm getting married next July and wanted to get some quick price quotes on some limos, figured having them would make transportation from the church, to getting pictures done, then to the reception would make things easier.
Well come to find out, all the places I called have a 3 hour min. rental... I don't need 3 hours, I need like 1 and 1/2. Prices are alot more than expected too, so not sure what to do now.
I know, yes... this is a wedding rant because when I first purposed to my fiance', I made the dreaded statement that I would help plan it... WHAT WAS I THINKING?
OK, I'm done... thanks for your time.

Yeah, you'll see the minimums of 3 or sometimes 4 hours with limo drivers. Reason being, they can't take another job inbetween when you need your limo to be there, so even though you're not using it the whole time, you are tying their car up.
If price is a concern, have you considered renting a Lincoln Towncar(s) instead? You've still got the chaueffer, but they're a little more reasonable pricewise. Not as private as a limo, to be certain, but if you're on a budget, a possible option.

I recommend (sp?) eloping. That's what we did *lol*. Much more fun. My stepbrother and his wife did the Vegas thing.
