Anyone else play this yet? I just rented it and feel I wasted money!!! it's horrible!!! the controls suck, the graphics are solid but the new move/style system sucks majorly!!! If your a certain weight, you can't be certain wrestling styles thus meaning you can't use certain moves? how gay is that? if your any larger than a light heavyweight... you can't be a submission wrestler.
overall, very very disappointed... I miss No Mercy! Just was wondering on other ppls reactions/reviews for this game.

First thing I thought when they said they limited your moves to 2 styles was "GAY!" Of course I'm gonna hafta rent it soon to see how I like it, but I make my Ice Kold CAW... and since Kold is so rounded, it'll be impossible to limit him to 2 styles. Also heard there aren't any good matches in this version, and that in general it's just a bad game. I'll hafta find out for myself like an idiot though.

I personally love the new game. I'm always looking for a new challenge in the SD v R series. This year is no exception. Sure the controls take a little while to get used to and the CAW options are pretty much the same as the last few years, but a wicked edition was the ECW Extreme Rules match, a match where you aren't limited to the same four generic weapons. All I have to say about the match is "FLAMMING F@CKING TABES". My bigges complaint about the game is that you can't play season mode and GM mode seperately, it's either one or the other. I for one am glad I picked the game up and look forward to unlocking things over the next couple of months. So far I give the game 2 out of 5 stars solely based on the Flamming Tables and Flamming Barbed Wire Bats.

Well, I rented the Wii version last night before work... WORST WRESTLING GAME EVER! Dunno about Xbox or PS3, as I'm cheap and a Nintendo fanboy, so I don't have those systems, but Instead of the normal 2 hours to make my CAW, it took me 45 minutes. The Move Set took me 5, as Wii doesn't even let you chose moves, it just gives you the styles of set generic moves, and you can chose finisher and favorite move. The damn game doesn't even let you preview your entrance while your making it, so to make your entrance you hafta choose "Superstar 01" then save, start a match, and watch your entrance. I took the game back after 3 hours. I'd rather play Midway's WWF Attitude.
