This is the best promo I've seen in a long long time. I don't really follow wrestling but this guy is a wonder on the mic and I thoroughly enjoy anything he's involved in.
Just out of interest, did any of this fly over your heads? There were a lot of obscure British terms used.
On a sidenote, TNA, as inconsistent as it is, has some really charasmatic talkers. Pope is always entertaining, AJ is getting better and in terms of in-ring performers I really like Brian Kendrick.
At this rate I might have to start watching more often.

In my opinion, Desmond Wolfe is the best all around star in wrestling today. He's got awesome wrestling skills and his current gimmick isn't so over the top like most that it's great. He's got some of the best mic skills in history.
And he has the coolest name ever....lol. My oldest son's name is Desmond, which is about two years older than Nigel's name, so no I didn't get it from him. Lol.
Nearly every true wrestling fan you see loves the guy, I really hope that Hogan, Russo, Bischoff, and Dixie see this too. The guy could easily be pushed to the moon and be a big part of TNA's rating taking a huge jump.
Main event for next week's Impact will be EPIC. It's AJ Styles/Desmond Wolfe vs. Pope/Jeff Hardy. All four of those guys would be in my top 10 wrestlers of today with Desmond and AJ being the top two.

pope is one of the best TNA has right now, I'm glad he is getting the "slight push" he's getting.
Wolfe is good too, I have little hope for hardy. and i am still not buying the "AJ heel" flair gimmick right now.
impact was horrible... once again.

If you subtract Hogan and Flair, Impact was awesome. Every single thing outside of Hogan is great.
Angle and Anderson is pure genius. Angle is great at serious promos, Anderson is great at comedy promos. The mixture of the two is great, and they can wrestle.
I don't like AJ as heel, but one thing is true that he's gaining a bit of personality that he'll use in the future.
Pope has always had talent, it's just that WWE was too stupid to use him right, the same way that they are doing with Carlito, Jack Swagger, Christian, Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston, John Morrison, and Santino Marella...I'm sure I can name ten more.
At least so far in TNA there hasn't been this misconception that wrestlers had to be above 240 lbs. to be main eventers. WWE only gave Rey Mysterio a slight push because of Eddie's death. Like Kenny Doane...the guy had more talent than Cena, Triple H, Batista, and Orton all combined, yet he was a jobber on Smackdown. They can't even blame that on his mic skills cause' they were good too. And the kid was only 19 at the time. Think of how huge he could have been in 5 years at only 24.
If done right, next week's Impact main event could top anything WWE could do all year, PPV's included.
