The commercials wrap up with a final shot of Goody's best ribs, and the picture cuts back to America's favorite former morning newscaster, Katie Couric.
"Welcome back. And finally, tonight, one the C.B.S Evening news, police in New York are still baffled by a series of explosions two days ago. The F.B.I have now joined the investigation, due to each of the victims having alledged mafia ties. It was briefly thought by Homeland Security that these were terrorist bombings, but no longer due to the new information."
"The investigation, however, took a somewhat odd turn this morning. A videotape, mailed to the NYPD, shows an office building in downtown New York. It was one of the six locations bombed that night."
And the picture changes again, this time to the side of an office building. The camera slowly pans up to the top of the building, several floors above, down to the street and levels out again. A gloved hand holding a pocket watch appears, showing the time to be 3:40.
"Good evening," a voice utters, obviously altered and sounding rather satisfied with itself, "or would that be morning?"
Another shot of the watch.
"It is widely accepted that Tetris is the earliest known form of what is known as 'video game crack'. Pong has been ruled out, seeing as how it was practically the first game to begin with. Blink and you'll miss it. Have a nice day."
The statement is punctuated by the sound of explosions in the building being filmed. Almost too fast to tell, a series of fireballs shoot out of the windows up and down the broad side of the building. The picture cuts, once again, to a serious Katie.
"Upon further inspection of the tape, police thought they had found an important clue. When they viewed it at a slower speed, this is what they discovered."
And back to the tape. This time to watch it in slow motion. As the flames destroy the windows, sending a rain of broken glass to the street below, a pattern seems to emerge. Each one placed and timed to write three letters in destruction.

"As it turns out, there is no known terrorist organization, foreign or domestic, that goes by those three letters. While it is possible that this is a new threat, the F.B.I believes it was most likely an act of revenge. For the C.B.S Evening News, I'm Katie Couric, goodnight."
