MG: Well how do, RCW fans, your old friend Melvin Gates here, and welcome to your OFFICIAL RCW Hotline Report! Folks, do ya believe it?! We are just a stone's throw away from our biggest show in RCW history, Hog Heaven; On the Border, coming to you LIVE from Tiger Stadium in Texarkana, Texas. Fans we have every indication that this show on Sunday, May the 18th will be the biggest crowd for an RCW function yet, and those fans will be awarded with a card that will simply blow you away. And as always, ol' Melvin has that complete card for you Hotline listeners EXCLUSIVELY!
-Now before I get to the matches, you folks don't need me to tell you we've had quite an infusion of talent here to Razorback Championship Wrestling as of late. My sources in the RCW offices tell me that the Hog Heaven broadcast will be shining a spot light on each and every one of these newcomers, so our fans at home can learn more about some potential future stars!
-First off we've got a special exhibition match, as the man that RCW Commissioner Franky Higgs claims is an undefeated Knockout Artist in "Night Train" Clifton Pearson[/color] will be going three rounds with Roy Jones Jr.[/color] Now folks, my calls for comments from the Jones camp haven't been returned as of yet, but Fast Franky has guaranteed this reporter that Roy will be the next victim to take a ride on the "Pain Train."
-After that, it's a first for me, as we'll be seeing to my knowledge the first 2 Minute Challenge match. Brash RCW newcomer Davey "The Savior" Boone[/color] issued a challenge to Casanova[/color], and 'Nova accepted on the condition of this stipulation! Your guess is as good as mine as to what will happen in such a brief bout, but you folks watching at home, Boone vs. Nova will not be the time to leave your seat for a cold one!
-After that, we'll see a match that certainly seems to mark the end of the faction known as Alpha Storm as we know it, as the man formerly of the New Downward Spiral, Puck[/color], will take on that seasoned veteran and former stable mate, "The Franchise" Ares![/color] Puck's new mean streak hasn't stopped at simple attacks, as he resorted to throwing a fireball at The Franchise on Southern Dynamite. You can bet that Ares will be heading to Texarkana with revenge on his mind!
-The grudge matches keep coming, as we'll be seeing a feud which has been boiling over for years, and has gotten very personal, explode at Tiger Stadium. The giant of a man, Tommy D Powers[/color], has done everything he can to make Jose "Masked Avenger" Torres'[/color] life miserable, and it comes to a head on the 18th. Chaos will likely reign as this real life David vs. Goliath match-up goes down!
-And of course, fans, this is Hog Heaven; On The Border, but how about a Fight Without Borders? Per order of our, uh, esteemed Commissioner Franky Higgs, the match between "The Main Attraction" Jeffrey Hollywood[/color] & Mikey[/color] will be no disqualification, and falls will count anywhere inside OR OUTSIDE Tiger Stadium! Lately Hollywood has taken some shots at Mikey's family, namely Circle of Legend inductee En Fuego, and this is the chance for Mikey to settle the score - it'll be The Mute vs. The Mouth in this spectacular brawl!
-Folks, this next bout was the very first to be announced for Hog Heaven 3, but that certainly doesn't stop it from being one of the most anticipated. A man who's made a name for himself in one promotion after the other, "Burning Hammer" Doug Gavelon[/color], will attempt to become RCW Natural Champion? Standing in his way? A monster by the name of Brock "The Beast" Davids.[/color] You can bet that Davids will do everything in his power to attempt to prevent Gavelon from ending the reign of RCW's longest tenured champ!
-And folks, it gets down to brass tacks for this next one. We're talking main event time! It'll be late in the evening, so the houselights will be turned all the way up, and so will the capacity crowd in Texarkana, when Ase[/color] makes his claim to pry the RCW Southern Heritage Title away from the only champion the belt's ever known, that crafty veteran, I can only be talking about The Phil![/color] Last week Phil deemed meeting Ase face to face to sign a contract not worthy of his time. Will that enrage the Weapon Ase? To what levels will Phil go to to keep that gold around his waist?
