***RCW PRESS RELEASE - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE***

Fayetteville - Razorback Championship Wrestling has heard the requests of their fans, and have provided a product they've asked for - and it's all going to a good cause.

Effective immediately at all RCW shows, the merchandise table will feature two CD's featuring music from all your favorite stars, both past & present. "Hog Calls - The Music of RCW," features over 35 tracks, spanning two CDs. Each disc will be price at $9 per volume, with the whole set available for a discount price of $15. As per the agreement of the record publishers, all proceeds from these sets will go to the Fayetteville Boys & Girls Club, as well as other assorted local charities.

Actually, it's probably better suited for Higgs than he realizes. Since the song is about a guy who tried to become a big star, then failed and had to move back home and all. I like to think Franky just chose it because it contained the word "Georgia."

BTW, has anyone downloaded yet? If so, let me know if it went through ok, if not I can look to upload to another site (Rapidshare, MegaUpload, etc.)

And I figure I'll throw this out there, but whose theme do you think really fits them the best? My candidates are Gavelon & Hollywood, although I think "Charisma" really suits Casanova.

Yup, both downloaded perfectly for me... which is awesome (NEW MUSIC! lol)

As far as who's music fits best... I think most are a perfect fit actually.... some that really stand out for me however are:

- Kip Reeves: I Drink Alone (freaking awesome!)
- AJ Supreme (in-character with how RCW is, I just imagine once that first cord hits, the entire boy's and girl's club erupts as AJ walks out)
- Rogers is great w/Cops theme
- Floyd Boyd is pretty entertaining too
- Beau w/Queen's I Want It all seems to work well, even though we haven't seen much from him

Gavelon, Ase, Nova... all fit really well.

OVERALL... this was a sweet idea and hope to see more fun stuff like this in the future.

I too thought this was a great idea. Props to Nick aka Franky Higgs for coming up with this idea.

As for songs that fit / don't fit there character.....

Songs that Fit:
1. Frank Higgs / Midnight Train to Georgia
-The song just fits, every time I hear it on TV / Radio I think of Franky.
2. Night Train / Watch for the Hook
-Again it just fits, I can see Pearson bobbing his head on his way to the ring.
3. AJ Supreme / U of A Fight Song
- And your right, anytime that song starts, the people of Arkansas go wild. I even have it as my ring tone on my cell phone.

4. Hollywood / Superstar
-The song just fits his superstar, bigger than life attitude perfectly.

Songs that don't fit:

1. Sinclair / Love in an elevator
-I don't get it. I might be the only one, but maybe Sinclair can explain the song choice for me.

[Pure Original]

The song was taken on a whim. I love the beat and when I first joined the RCW my idea was to go super heel and basically make out with Denise on the Ramp way with that song playing. Now that I am writing in a different direction I'll be changing my theme over the next few weeks.

It's not that I don't like the beat....I think it's a cool beat and it's a classic song.....And who's to say you still can't make out with Denise on the ramp.....

Yeah, actually speaking of songs that don't fit, I like the song Blackhart used as an entrance, but I always found her rp's kind of cheery and whimsical, and the song is kind of a contrast to that. I thought the same for Delilah too, but who am I to argue with freakin' Metallica?

And I don't mean to toot my own horn, but I'm a total mark for Willy Franklin using "The Kid is Hot Tonight," which is totally dated, cheesy 80's pop, as his theme. I just think of Willy as a guy who came in as a young, fast prospect in the 80's, and is no longer young nor fast. Kind of a throwback who never really moved on with the rest of the world (I mean come on, he's a guy in his late 30's/early 40's who still calls himself "the Wild Child.")

Yeah, Willy and Loverboy seem to go together like lamb and tuna fish. lol

I thought that one song that didn't fit was Davey Boone's theme "Given Up" by Linkin Park. Maybe it's just the fact that he's using Angle as a pic base because I just can't see the guy coming out to a song like that.

I do think that almost everyone else has themes that fit perfectly. "Charisma" is absolutely perfect for Casanova and "Superstar" is the definitive theme for Hollywood, imo. As for Doug, I went with "Cult of Personality" because I still see Doug as CM Punk and Punk used that as his theme for a time in ROH. lol But it still works very well.

The thing I think is so funny about this was I was just about to change my entrance theme, and use one for Tarja solo as the need may arise for that soon. I'm bad at keeping entrance music, cause I have ADD when it comes to music.

But, being a lover of music, this is awesome lol. I'm going to go download it now.

You've NEVER heard "Cult of Personality" before? God, my local radio station plays that song at least twice a day. And it's not even like it's a new song or anything... I thought everybody had this song shoved down their throat as much as I did. lol
