Post by Alex Crowe on Jan 29, 2009 12:48:45 GMT -6
(The RCW cameras start rolling as Alex Crowe sits on a chair in his Fayetteville apartment. He is staring at the ground and as the camera zooms in slightly, he slowly raises his head and looks directly into the lens. His expression is a very serious one as his tone expresses the same feeling.)
Alex: Once again I find myself coming up short when given an amazing opportunity. I was unable to win that “Shot of a Lifetime” Battle Royal, but is there really any surprise there? Of course not, nobody expected me to win it anyways. It's taken this long for me to bring myself to be able to sit in front of this camera because I've been thinking a lot about myself and my career. It seems I've been doing a lot of that lately. I said I was going to make a change in 2009, yet things are still the same. I try my best and still can't cut it. I've been asking myself these past few days, why even try at all when it doesn't seem to make a lick of difference?
(Alex pauses and again looks down at the floor. He closes his eyes as he takes a deep breath.)
Alex: I keep trying my hardest because I'm not a quitter. I don't give up when the chips are down, and I certainly don't throw in the towel when guys like Nick Zildjian are walking around RCW thinking they can do whatever they want without repercussions. I made the choice months ago to stand up and fight along side Nate Sipes against the FOE and my loss in the Battle Royal doesn't change that.
(Alex looks back up at the camera.)
Alex: So I didn't get the Title shot, oh well. In actuality, I did achieve one of my main goals in that match, Nick Zildjian didn't win it. That's right Nick, I said I was going to focus most of my attention on you and that's exactly what I did. This war you and the rest of your buddies have started is going to come to an end this Sunday at Hog Heaven: Southern Chill.
Nate Sipes will take care of Havoc and I get the privilege of facing you one-on-one again. You made the challenge of making this match a Russian Chain match and I gladly accepted because I'm going to enjoy beating you at your own game Nick. You wanted this match and now you've got it, and you've got to deal with me.
I'm going to unleash all my frustrations, all my anger, everything I've got bottled up inside me, it's all coming out in this match. I've heard countless others these past few days going on and on about what they are going to do Sunday night, and how they are going to win this match and leave with that Championship. This match is different.
(The camera zooms in.)
There are no titles, no Championship contenderships, just you and me Zildjian. The bad blood that has been boiling between us for months now is about to erupt Sunday night. I'm going to hold nothing back, whatever it takes to break you, I'm going to do. The FOE falls at Southern Chill, and I am honored to be the one who takes you down.
We've seen your power and strength, I've experienced it first hand many times. I'm ready for it Nick, bring everything you've got because I'm done talking. I don't want to talk anymore!
(Crowe stands up as the emotions overwhelm him. The chair he was sitting in tips back from the force at which he exploded to his feet. The camera stays zoomed in on his face.)
Alex: I want to fight and that's exactly what I'm going to do at Hog Heaven. I'm going to fight for my life, fight for Razorback Championship Wrestling. Fight for Nate Sipes, and fight for Doug Gavelon! I haven't forgotten what you and your friends did to him, this Sunday you will finally pay for your actions.
I'm done talking, I'm ready to finish this war! See you at Southern Chill!!
(Crowe walks off as the cameras fade out.)

[Inside the training facility of Juvinal’s Mansion, Nick Zildjian pounds away with punches and knees on a heavy bag. So much so, that the bag begins to fall apart. Nick takes a step back to admire his work. Then, he reaches down and grabs a large chain that was lying on the ground next to him. He begins swinging it and hitting the heavy bag again. He then wraps it around his left hand and begins punching it again. As a result, the bag is an obliterated pile of dust and torn materials. Nick takes a step back and turns to the camera.] NZ: I perform my duties quite well. However, I’m more used to killing my opponents than knocking the stuffing out of heavy bags. It’s a good thing that Comrade Juvinal has a ton of the money that you capitalists crave because I’ve had to destroy many heavy bags en route to destroying my opponents.[Nick begins running his right hand over the chain on his left as he continues.] NZ: I proved my dominance by beating the hell out of 14 other competitors at Southern Dynamite. I proved that I deserve my shot at the Southern Heritage Title. The only reason it isn’t I defeating Jeffrey Hollywood for the title at Hog Heaven is because of that pathetic waste, Alex Crowe. Crowe, you even admit that you blew your chance in the battle royal. I laid waste to you as I did to everyone else and yet, that wasn’t enough. You felt the need to stick your nose in my business again and cause me to be eliminated. You are the only reason I didn’t take out Phil, Eno and Puck and earn my shot at championship gold.[Nick throws down the chain before quickly composing himself.] NZ: No matter. That problem will soon be fixed. All I have to do is wipe your pathetic carcass off the face of this planet and then I can concentrate on obtaining what should already be the FOE’s property: the Southern Heritage Title. You’re right when you say you don’t matter. You joined this war on the losing side and have proven in every instance that you’re truly a loser. You may not be a quitter but once you experience the pain of my Russian Chain Match, you’ll wish you were.[Nick develops an evil smile on his face.] NZ: At Southern Dynamite, Alex Crowe showed the whole world just how big of a loser he is and yet he claims that he didn’t even care about obtaining the title shot. He wants everyone to believe that he cared only about ending my hopes at gaining the title shot. That proves what I’ve been saying all along: he’s a loser in the true sense of the word. While I’m, obviously, upset about his treachery, I realize that he sees what’s only in front of him. You see, while a victory in battle gives you glory for the day, winning the war or even ending an opponent’s life is glory that will last a lifetime.[Nick’s smile fades as he begins to rub his hands together.] NZ: On Sunday at Hog Heaven, I will be the one to end the misery of everyone who’s had to sit and watch Alex Crowe wrestle in RCW. You’re right, Alex, in that this war will end with the Southern Chill. Not only will Havoc end Nate’s pathetic attempts at championship gold but I will end your career and your life, Alex. The FOE will reign victorious and finally be able to move on to bigger, more important battles. I hope that you fans enjoy bloodbaths and I hope that you will be ready to make donations on Sunday because both will happen at Crowe’s expense. His blood will run over the mat like a crimson wave over puny nations. A wave of red will wash over you filthy Americans; just as nature intended and just like history should’ve done twenty years ago.[Nick looks over his shoulder to admire his work again. He then turns back to the camera.] NZ: I hope you do bring all of your anger and hatred, Alex, because I don’t want anyone to make excuses once I leave you six feet in the ground. There will be no reason why you die in the ring other than I proved to be the far superior athlete and man. Alex, I hope you can find some friends when I send you to Hell because you are no friend of mine![Nick turns his back to the camera before turning back to it and nailing the camera man with the Sickle. The next shot is of Nick’s feet as the camera lies on the ground.] FADE TO BLACK
