5/9/09 Fayetteville, AR ************** [“This is it”, he thinks. “This is what I’ve waited six months for: revenge against Havoc.” This is Doug’s thought process as he wakes up early on this morning. He sits up out of bed and picks up a black t-shirt from the floor to wear. He looks over and sees his beloved Tiffany is still motionless in the bed. His demeanor quickly changes to that of disappointment as he knows what he must do over the next week. He goes over to the closet and opens it up; his bag already packed up for his next travel. As he goes to close the closet door, something falls inside and makes a loud noise. Doug looks back at Tiffany who starts to startle before sitting up in bed. The white blanket slides down her body to her waist; revealing her black bra. She wipes her eyes as she wakes up and brushes her blonde hair from her face. She looks up with surprise as she sees Doug standing in the doorway with a bag in his hand.]Tiffany: Hey honey, what’s going on?DG: I’m going to train for my match. Tiffany: But why is your bag packed with so much stuff?DG: Because I’ll be gone for the week. [Tiffany’s eyes grow wide as she feels a sudden wave of shock.]Tiffany: WHAT?!?! Why?DG: I need to isolate myself. To beat an animal like Havoc, I have to find a way to unlock the rage that I’ve been holding in my heart since November. Tiffany: Well…where are you going?DG: I can’t tell you that. I need to be completely isolated while I train for this. Tiffany: But why, Doug? Why can’t you just go train with Nate like always? Just go work even harder than usual and just stay home?DG: Because Nate is training for a wrestling match; I’m preparing for the fight of my life. I have to go into Hog Heaven ready to not just beat Havoc but destroy him. If I don’t, then what we all fought so hard for will be for nothing. I have to do this Tiffany. I have to win. Tiffany: I know you have to win but why do you have to leave me? I need you, Doug; I need you to make me feel secure.DG: You’re a strong woman, Tiffany. You know how to keep yourself safe now. Never forget that. [Doug can see the water starting to form in his beloved’s eyes and so he softens up slightly to try to comfort her.]DG: Don’t worry; I’ll be back before the show. I’m not going away forever. Tiffany: How can you be so sure? The object of your match is to leave your opponent unconscious. What if he kills you? You would be gone forever.[Doug realizes that it’s no use as he breathes a sigh of frustration.]DG: Look, Tiff, I have to go now. I’ll see you in a week, okay? I love you. [Tiffany tries to respond but starts to break down. She is able to eek out a response.]Tiffany: I love you, too.[Doug blows her a kiss and remains standing in the doorway for a moment. He wonders if he should leave as he watches his girlfriend weep in their bed. He manages to turn his body around and walk out the door.]5/15/09 Location Unknown **************** [The camera pans around a small, darkened room. A single light bulb illuminates portions of it. The padding on the walls indicate that the room, at least at one point, was a wrestling room. The camera continues to show the darkened features of this enclosed environment until it spots a figure standing in the corner. The figure is a person with their back to the camera. The camera holds its position on the person as they begin to speak.]DG: For an entire week, I’ve lived in darkness and evil as I’ve prepared for the contest to come. I’ve relied on no one’s help but my own. In other words, I’ve sunk to your level, Havoc. To beat you, I’ve stripped away my humanity for Ultimate Lights Out. In essence, Havoc, to beat you, I had to become you. I had to bring myself back to this dark place where I was during the darkest period of my life. Of course, I’m not speaking of this very room but the dark place in my soul. Back to the time when I could destroy you without mercy; without remorse; without conscience. [Doug turns around slowly. As he faces the camera, his face shows an angry scowl, his hair is a mess and his clothes are now tattered shrouds. He brings his hands together at his waist; his biceps glistening with sweat. He tilts his head to the side as he continues.]DG: For the longest time, Havoc, I was filled with remorse for what I had done to you. It seems during that time, that you became filled with something else. You had filled your heart with hate and many would say rightfully so. The problem being that you took it a step too far. While I had been concerned before with ending your career, you wanted to end not only my life but the lives of my family and friends. For a time, that gave you an advantage over the other members of the RCW locker room. That all changed when I and the 7 Day Army eliminated your so-called Family and proved you to be a King of Fraud instead of a King of Kings. [Doug straightens up and starts to slowly rub his hands together.]DG: As far as your claims about people saying I needed to dump you as my benefactor in the old place that’s because it’s true: you were dead weight to my career. From day one of my career in that company, you were more concerned about how YOU could benefit from it; not how to properly manage your pupil. So, you started wrestling again and you constantly lost. Then, you’d team alongside me and you’d cost us important match after important match. I knew then what I know now: you’re a waste of space, a waste of a spot on the card and a waste of life. Sure, you want revenge on me for how I ended our business relationship but more so you want to try and show everyone that you’re better than me. You’re jealous, Havoc; jealous of my success and jealous of the fact that at your finest hour, it took Jarvis’s steel-toed boot for you to beat me and take the Natural Title. Your inability to win on your own was shown when Nate easily dispatched of you at the previous Hog Heaven. When you’re left on your own, no matter what the stipulation says, you can’t win. You can cry foul and conspiracy all you want but the truth is that I am better than you’ll ever be. [Doug takes his right hand and points it straight at the camera.]DG: As for what you said about Tiffany…don’t think for even one minute that I’d live to see you step within ninety feet of her again. You want me to think about what would happen if I lost this match and you have your wish. My love and passion for my girlfriend and the hatred that I have for you have fueled me like no other preparation could. Once I get my hands on you, Havoc, I will squeeze the life out of you so that you can bring no more misery to me, my family or my friends. I have thought about the effects of a loss and I’ve deemed it not only unacceptable but impossible because you will never beat me, under any circumstances. I will end your career at Hog Heaven and you’ll be forced to watch as Tiffany and I can finally enjoy our life together knowing that you’re no longer in it. If I have to, I will dump you on your head with the Burning Hammer again and again and again and again. Whatever it takes to ensure that you don’t get up because at Hog Heaven, Havoc… [Doug approaches the light bulb hanging in the center of the room. He reaches up and turns it off.]DG: …it’ll be lights out.

5/16/09 River Market Amphitheater *********************** [The scene opens on a wooden table with a spotlight shining down on it. As it just sits there in silence for several moments, two people sit down at either end of the table. At one end…Doug Gavelon. At the other end…Havoc. As they sit down and place their hands on the table, neither man takes their eyes off the other. Then, appearing between the two men at the center of the table is Melvin Gates.]MG: Gentlemen, as you know, Razorback Championship Wrestling will not sanction your Ultimate Lights Out Match at Hog Heaven: Going Wild. In order to compete at the event, I have asked you both here to sign waivers that will prevent any legal litigation that may be taken against RCW. Any questions?H: Why’d you crawl out of your hole, Doug? Not enough of your fellow cockroaches to keep you company?[Doug returns Havoc’s sneer with one of his own.]DG: I wanted the pleasure of seeing you sign your own death warrant the second your pen touches that waver. [Melvin, nervously, rubs his head before reaching under the table and pulling out the forms. He hands one to Havoc and one to Doug. He also hands each of them a pen.]MG: Now, if each of you will sign at the bottom of the page next to the “X”, then this contest will be official.[Doug takes his pen, quickly signs it and hands it back to Melvin. Havoc takes the pen in his hand but stops before putting it to paper. He looks back up at Doug; his evil smile never fading.]H: Tell me, Doug, considering the pain; the punishment; the pure horror that I inflicted on you the last time we faced each other, why should I sign this form and not just walk out of here right now?DG: Because if you don’t sign that waiver, you’ll prove to everyone what a cowering, lowlife sc*mb*g you truly are. By not signing that, you’ll be considered a disgrace for the rest of existence. [Doug leans in closer towards Havoc.]DG: People will laugh at the very thought of your name, Havoc. Are you willing to handle that? [Havoc’s demeanor turns cold. He takes his pen and signs on the dotted line. He looks back up at Doug as he tosses the paper at Melvin.]MG: Well, it’s now official and there’s no getting out of it: Havoc vs. Gavelon in Ultimate Lights Out at Hog Heaven: Going Wild tomorrow night. Good luck to both of you.[Melvin turns around to leave but turns back when he realizes that neither man has left the table.]DG: You know how they say “break a leg” in theatre, Havoc? Well, I plan on breaking both of yours at Hog Heaven. H: That’s funny, Doug. That makes me smile almost as much as the thought of holding Tiffany down as I show her how a true man treats a woman.[That comment causes Doug’s smile to become an angry scowl as Havoc’s smile widens.]H: Tell me, Doug, what sexual position does Tiffany like the best and does she sw****w even when forced to? HA HA HA![Doug leaps over the table as he and Havoc start to brawl. The camera man moves closer to the two and gets hit with a wild punch. As the camera falls to the ground, security guards can be seen coming from all directions; trying to break up the melee and being thrown to the ground for their trouble.]HAVOC VS.
