This was my attempt at a cosmic 21st Century Bryds kind of sound. The quality is pretty appalling as it was recorded on my four track and then hooked up to my computer using one of those streaming recorders you get for free on the web.
It's just me and a guitar. Not perfect but you get the idea.

Dude, it sounded great to me. It definitely had a Kinks kinda sound to it and with the pics you put in the slideshow, it fit really well. I wish I was that musically talented. The best I ever did was play trombone in the 7th grade. lol Good stuff, man!

Being in a band myself...I have to usually see about 12 to 16 live bands a month. None of them have the kind of sound that you get with just your guitar. That's a good thing. 90% of them are basically clones of the band before them...to an extent that includes my own band. We are a bit more blend of 90's metal than most of the other alt bands that play around here, but we still have the same heavy distortion and deep bass.
My advice is to gather up a band...gain someone with vocals, doesn't even have to be perfect at it. Being in a band definately has it's advantages...free time is not one of them though. Lol.
