Here they are... Happy New Years! - Southern Dynamite #49Please discuss your thoughts on this show, favorite match... favorite moment... did the "huge announcement" live up to the hype? Also... the card for SD 50 should be posted either Saturday or Sunday.

For a 3 match show....it was great. It's funny that it was supposed to be a highlights show, but there was so much going on that the highlights were a very small part of the show.
High Society are steadily continueing to keep me interested.
Yeah, when I read about the Southern Championship Challenge, I was thinking that's not a bad announcement, but I have to admit, I was a bit dissapointed. The real announcement was what I was wanting. It was great.
But guys....E.B. Marcus will be a contender. Hope you guys will enjoy him.

Considering we only had a week to pull it out of our arses, it was a pretty good show. lol
I figured there'd be a second announcement because I already knew about the "challenge" coming. I can't believe I was as close as I was about the big announcement. lol I think it lived up to the hype.
Best match was the main event. Best segment I'll give to E.B. Marcus. I think the card should be posted Sunday because I'm sure there's more than a few people here who will be doing some partying tonight and tomorrow. This way, everybody gets the hangover out of their system. lol

A few things:
- first glad you all have liked the show so far and I think this proves we can put together a great show in a short amount of time.
- as far as the card for SD 50 goes... I will probably go along with what Travis suggested and wait till Sunday afternoon to post it. I'm going to spend tomorrow (Saturday) doing some major updating to our main site.
- hopefully if you're reading this than you've already read results... if not... scroll back up and read them before reading on because I'm going to discuss what the major announcement means for RCW and 2010....
............
.................
........................
................................
........................................
LAST CHANCE... hopefully you've read the results from beginning to end.
- Now yes, AJ and I have decided for RCW to go national on the Versus Network, this opens up HUGE things for us. First off, Southern Dynamites will still be at the boys and girls club, but will now be EVERY FRIDAY night... that's right, we are going to try to do a weekly show, which would make sense storyline wise if we got the national television deal. I will get more into that in a minute...
- with the new deal, this means you can now have pyros and "fireworks" in your entrances... but PLEASE do not go overboard with them. If you update ur bios with new entrances, please just post a reply to them that you updated them, thanks.
- also... we will now be having monthly Pay-Per-Views, that will be held at different arenas all over the US. My question is, should we keep the style of "Hog Heaven: 'something'" or should be make Hog Heaven & School of Hard Knocks our two big annual ppvs, and then have other ppvs with just names like "Hell on Earth" or "Second Beginnings" ect?
- as far as rping and results will go... it's up to you, I am opening this decision to all of you: Results must be posted on fridays, no matter what which means ALL matches and segments MUST be in no later than Friday mornings.
- AJ and I have decided since we are doing weekly shows, the rp limit is now going to be 1 per person per match... if you want to do two rps, go for it BUT ONLY your BEST ONE will COUNT towards grading.
- as far as rp deadlines go... here are the options: (1) results post on Fridays, the next card posts on Saturday, then you have 5 days (Sat.- wed.) to rp. The rp deadline would be wednesday night at 11:59 board time, leaving you all day thursday to write up matches/segments and get them in by friday mornings.
or
(2) results post friday, card posts sunday (giving all day saturday to read results and discuss them) then rping is 5 days (sun. - thursday) with deadline thursday night at 11:59 board time, leaving you no extra day to get ur matches written.
so basically do you want the extra day for reading results or for being able to write matches... PLEASE let me know asap.
thanks guys, I look forward to hearing your feedback on all of this.

I think results on Friday, next card on Saturday. Personally I'd like as much time as possible to prepare for roleplays, segments and match writing.
Regards the PPV names I think it's a good idea to keep Hog Heaven and School of Hard Knocks as the two stalwarts, the supercards in effect, and opt for changeable monthly cards. This leaves the door open for seasonal variations i.e. (and I apologise in advance) Winter Solace, Sunstroke, Brawl in Fall etc.

First off, I like the 1 rp limit....but that levels the playing field alot more. It makes more people a bigger threat to the titles. Mark my words, I'll bet there's at least 3 title changes within' the next 4 to 5 months.
Next...I think we should keep Hog Heaven and Hard Knox (drop the "School", just my opinion though). Then have others that continue from year to year. I love that. Let's you know where you are at in the season. I think we should have at least one Royal Rumble or King of the Ring style tournament PPV each year as well. That just seems natural...a nice name for that PPV would be Supremecy....hence AJ SUPREME.
I'm looking forward to a huge twenty ten.

Results on Friday, card on Saturday. I think having the extra day to write matches has really benefitted everybody.
I also think that we should have a different name for each ppv but have Hog Heaven and School of Hard Knocks be like the Summerslam and Wrestlemania or Great American Bash and Starrcade equivalents.
This new system looks to be really interesting. I can't wait for the challenge.

I like the idea of different named PPVs, but are we going to change their names, period? Or is this month/next months PPV being so called.... "Winter Burn" or something... then every Feb PPV be called that, like WWE?
1RP limit is going to be tough. It'll be a nice way to make things even, but still... one is rough lol.
National programming opens up lots of fun possibilities... *evil, evil smirk* muh ha ha ha ha.
Hog Heaven and School of Hard Knocks are what brought us to the dance and are therefore our most important shows. They should be like Wrestlemania and whatnot... or something.
As for the show itself- spectacular for such a short amount of time. Sorry I couldn't contribute anything- I've literally been working from 5AM-1AM everyday, with barely enough time to sleep for over a week straight.

well with only have 5 days to rp, one rp seem fair... again if you want to rp more than once, go for it... but only ur best one will count. having the two rps for the 5 days seems like it might be rougher i think... maybe I'm wrong.

I just meant personally my 1st RP is normally my worst... If it's 1 vs. 1, I'll probably go on a big losing streak, have to change my gimmick to a superstar who refuses to wrestle on "cheap TV shows" and only wrestle on PPVs, my merchandise sales will drop, I'll start hemoragging money cause I'm such an egomancial bastard, go bankrupt, change my name, and hide in shame for the rest of my life, and then die sad and alone and be a blip on some wrestling forums... all because of your 1 RP limit! Damn you! DAMNNNN YOU! lol
