I was just wondering if anybody else was a theme song whore like I am?
Edge is my favorite wrestler based wholly on the fact that his theme song is so kick ass.
I also like The Miz and Drew Mcintyre because their theme songs are so awesome. Right now Miz' theme "I Came to Play" by Downstait is my favorite theme out there.
Just wanted to post something to hopefully start a discussion- whose theme do you like, and does liking somebody's theme music make them more likable to you regardless if they are a heel or face?
Also, anybody else notice the heels get the best theme music?
On a side note, I heard an awesome song on XM a couple weeks ago called "Let it Roll" by Divide the Day and thought to myself what an excellent theme song or PPV theme that would make. I actually caught the beginning of Smackdown tonight- how the hell long has that been Smackdown's theme music? I'm glad I caught that before we did another PPV music suggestion thread, I'd of felt like an ass. That was kinda was inspired this here ranting thread. Okay, I shut up now- you talk. lol

The heels definitely seem to get the best theme music...in most cases. I guess you could call Orton a face now and his music is awesome. lol
Miz has some great theme music but I really enjoyed the mash up of Big Show and Jericho's themes when they were the champs.
I think my favorite would be Zack Ryder's theme music "Radio" but what sucks is that he never appears on Raw and I rarely watch Superstars...mostly because they job out Ryder. lol
Anyway, that's my two cents.

Orton's theme now is nice, but Burn in My Light was a whole lot better. I still don't understand why they changed his theme... and took away his pyros on top of it lol.
The music mash-ups just make me angry. Show's music works cause it's not really a "song" in and of itself. But when they mashed up Orton and Edge's themes I wanted to vomit lol.

Actually, they made a new one for Orton because he really hated "Burn in My Light." Don't know why but it really wasn't his deal (funny considering he had it for like 3 years, lol). So, he heard "Voices" one day, asked/told Vince that he wanted it as his theme music and that was that.
Yeah, usually mash ups aren't that great but something about Big Show's "Weeeeeeeeeeellllll" turning into "BREAK THE WALLS DOWN!" was all kinds of awesome for me. lol

Dolph Ziggler's "I am Perfection" is one of my favs right now, along with the one mentioned above... Drew's is great, also love his tititron vid, Miz's new one is "AWESOME", I have always loved "Voices" for Orton...
The theme music Rob Conway used for a short time "Just look at me" was pretty entertaining, not the best music but I found some joy from it, lol.
But to answer ur question Tym, yes theme music does play a part for me in liking someone, regardless of heel or face. The music is alot of time the first thing you notice, considering its their entrance, lol.
ANYWAYS... back to results, I feel asleep at the comp basically last night trying to finish them.... DARN U DAN... where are u??? lol

Actually Randy Orton went to Vince McMahon with a song before they gave him his first theme music and they turned it down for Orton. That music ended up being CM Punk's theme. Orton hated his music and asked multiple times for a new one, that's whey they decided to go with Rev Theory for him.
As for theme music, I really like AJ Styles original theme before they went a rap route with it, and I like Kurt Angles theme music in TNA as well. As for WWE themes, I always loved Gangrel's theme, Edge's Rob Zombie music and even now his Alter Bridge theme song. And as much as I'm tired of hearing it now, Triple H's Motorhead "Time to Play the Game" was a huge favorite for me back in the day.
Also enjoyed "Voodoo Child" when Hogan came out...it lost it's coolness quick, but it was awesome for a few months.
