THE GOSPEL EPISODE 13.1 LOCATION: MILLEDGEVILLE, GEORGIA {Outside of a night club that has been all-too-familiar in the sporting news the past several months, the Vastly Superior Madman stands outside; leaning against the building; Maya tucked in against his right side. He crosses his arms as he begins his soliloquy.}Creed - Professional athletes have been described as giants among men. Their accomplishments on the athletic plains give every regular, unimportant mark a feeling of greatness; watching their idols succeed. However, that kind of false prophet worship can lead to problems when said-athletes conduct themselves in a…less than stellar manner.{Creed takes his left thumb and points it towards the club; re-crossing his arms after doing so.}Creed - Take this night club, for instance. Certainly, it could be any club in this wretched world. The only difference is what happened and to who on one certain night earlier this year. “Big” Ben Roethlisberger not only forced a minor to consume large amounts of alcohol but then…had his way with her…in a lavatory; a small, dirty, disgusting lavatory. Since that time, Ben has been able to stay out of jail through the use of great legal maneuvering; something I know all-too-well.{Creed’s smile widens as he thinks back to his exploits the previous week.}Creed - With that said, his reputation has been destroyed because he thought himself greater than the rest. The same has happened to many supposed heroes and heroes-in-training over the years. Those in Texas recall Michael Irvin’s problems not too long ago; Doug Gavelon’s hometown QB Big Ben was in trouble for the same sort of problem last year; someone who expresses himself through violence like Ase and from a team located in New Jersey no less was also just as wrong in the case of Lawrence Taylor; hell, many boxing fans thought of Mike Tyson as the second coming. Instead, he ended up behind a jail cell door because he believed that everything was his for the taking.{As Maya starts to rub at Creed’s body, Creed places his right hand near her mouth. She nibbles on his fingers like a young pup teething on her master’s digits.}Creed - Again, you all may point to my recent history and say that I’m just as bad as all of these supposed professional athletes. Again, you couldn’t be more wrong. Whereas these false prophets were ordinary mortals who extended their power base too far, I am on a level far greater than any near mortal. That’s why when I say something, you can take it as the absolute gospel. When I say that I shall change someone’s life, you can rest assured that it’ll happen. If I say I’m going to destroy an unworthy soul’s pathetic career, people like Nate Sipes and the New Level end up in ICU. When I conduct a conquest of a woman’s body such as the sex slave that stands next to me, I do it because I have the absolute power to do it. Finally, when I say that I shall remain undefeated and continue to dominate the competition in RCW, you selfish fools can bet your mortgages on me when I step into the ring against Alexander Rose.{Maya continues to bite at Creed’s fingers before he finally pushes her away. She licks her lips as she enjoys the tiny droplets of blood in her mouth. Creed wipes his hands together before continuing.}Creed - Alexander, you’ve certainly done well for yourself thus far in your brief career. A quick win against an unworthy opponent and a victory over the newest member of the largest group of egotistical loudmouths in this or any other organization. Certainly, a few more wins like these and they may start calling you Alexander the Great…just not this week. No, Alexander, this week, shall belong to me; just like last week when Maya and I crushed the precious bodies of Jeffrey Hollywood and Heather Divine; just like when I beat Jeff’s younger brother Josh Davis to a bloody pulp; just like when I ended the lifespan of the 7 Day Army. With a history like that, what makes you think you can beat someone like me, Alexander? You can’t! It’s just that simple. On your own, you are a great athlete that the sycophants on the other side of the guardrail seem to enjoy. The only problem is you’re not an elite athlete or god-like figure such as me. You may step into the ring against me and fair well enough…for a moment….but that success will only be temporary. I will give you just a moment to shine, Alexander, before I allow natural selection to take over and I crush your puny body.{Creed grabs Maya by the hair and signals to her to follow him. She complies as they slowly walk to the night club’s entrance.}Creed - Alexander, someday, you may be a champion in this organization but it won’t be any time soon. For now, you will have to watch from the backgrounds as I rise to the top of this bush league organization. You won’t defeat me this week, Alexander, as no one has found someone that could truly defeat me inside the ring; that person simply doesn’t exist. In fact, the only hope you have of victory this week is through divine intervention…the only problem being that you’re stepping into the ring with a genuine, professional, god-like giant among men; I am better than you; I am stronger than you; simply put, I’m Vastly Superior to you, Alexander, and I shall prove as much at Southern Dynamite.{Creed and Maya step up to the bouncer in front of the club; the bouncer just waving them on to enter the establishment. Before they do, Creed looks back to the camera.}Creed - To prove how much greater I am than anyone else on this planet…{Creed reaches out and grabs a blonde bimbo standing in line; she appears to already be intoxicated as well as confused.}Creed - …Maya and I shall prove what all Pittsburgh Steeler fans like Doug Gavelon already know: Big Ben maybe a star on the football field but he’s no messiah; he’s not bullet proof. However, I truly am.{Creed and Maya pull the woman into the establishment as other club-goers try to force their way in as well.}
