State of RCW

Hello one and all,

It is with great regret that I write this. As you can prob. tell Time hasn't been too friendly with me as of late. Work is crazy busy, and with all the other things going on in my life I just haven't had the time to devote to RCW like I should.

Adam has been doing an amazing job in keeping this place a float. And for that I want to publicly say "Thank you" for putting in your time and effort towards making RCW one of the best efeds out there.

And I also want to say a big "Thank you" to all the guys that have stuck it out with me in making RCW what it is. A group of dedicated guys and gals who love wrestling and the game. With out your dedication and talent RCW would not have made it as long as it has.

So with that being said, I am closing the doors to RCW. There is always a chance that the doors will open back up. But for the time being I don't have the time to keep things going. The boards will remain open, so visit often, keep us in your book marks. Maybe one day RCW will open it's doors up again. And when we do, I would love for each and everyone to come back and help us rise to the top once more.

For what it's worth, I find this announcement to be bitter sweet...

I've loved RCW, I have had some of my most memorable matches here with guys like Travis, Tym, and Dan.

However, with how things have been the last few months, with ppl leaving and the rp activity being as low as it has been... I think this is for the best.

Who knows, maybe in the fall we can try again... but sometimes a break is needed.

RCW had an amazing run and I hope each and every one of you enjoyed ur time here. As AJ said, let's keep the OOC activity going here... we're all friends so let's not just disappear.

I take some responsibility for this happening. I know we had a lot of people drop off but I feel it would've served RCW better had I found time to write my two matches and possibly others. I really feel bad for not being able to get my stuff in. I'm hoping we can all just take a break and then come back bigger and better than before. Sorry about dropping the ball on match writing guys but let's definitely keep up with the OOC stuff.

travis... do NOT think that match writing for Unbroken caused this to happen... u know from talks u and i have had on facebook... things have been rough around here for awhile...

you should take PRIDE in knowing you HELPED keep RCW open as long as it was. You were a HUGE help to me when it came to match writing and storyline ideas. Hell... in all honesty, u were one reason why I was able to stay motivated during the tough times man.

So again, do not feel responsible for this... real life happens and every great thing runs its course... for now, RCW has run its course. like u, i hope some day in the future RCW will rise again and personally, I hope ur there for it.

Marcus: Okay, I'll leave, but I'm taking the Natural Championship with me. I worked too hard for it, and I had a deal with Gatorade on the line. I'm also taking the Big Red costume and Willie Franklin's bike. I earned that bike and Franklin won't be needing it anymore.

I'm going to miss RCW, and Arkansas, but this won't be the end of EB Marcus. I'll see you guys on world television again soon. I'm outta' here.

I'm as sorry as anyone to hear about this (especially as I was toying with the idea of getting involved again). That being said, where are the rest of you guys headed? Active in any other feds?

I've been here for almost 2 years as well. It's a hybrid angle/roleplay fed, wins are usually sole based on roleplaying. It's very very laid back though. Most of the roster outside the 5 or 6 main eventers post short roleplays. It's a great place and there's some really good guys there too. Don't get me wrong though, there's still alot of good talent there when they are on.

Really sorry I've been gone so long- life blew up on me- long story short, my wife was in the hospital and had to have emergency surgery, and was there for a while. So I've basically been living the life of single father working full time and spending all my time at the hospital. It's sad to see RCW go down this road, but hopefully we'll all get it back together in the future, or possibly see each other elsewhere. I, for one, am going to take a long break from RPing as I see it. But, I'll be around here as much as possible.
