One last show (ALL READ)

Alright guys,

AJ and I were talking today and we both agree that we'd like to have one last show before RCW takes a break.

How do ya'll feel about that idea? it'd be at the boys & girls club... we could either have matches be decided by rps or angled...

we just feel one last show is needed where maybe some old faces could show up for one last action packed night.

your thoughts? possible suggestions on what to call this event?

As for rps or angles, I vote for angles. imo, we should concentrate our efforts on making this one of the best (if not the unquestioned best) shows we've ever done.

Anyway, that's my two cents.

I'm down for one last show, but if it's going to happen, I think the results of the PPV should at least be summerised and posted.

If it's available, I'd like a match between EB Marcus and Willie Franklin. Had fun with the bicycle story and now that Marcus has evolved from Early, I could play on some of that. Lol.

Also, I'd like to have permission to do one last roleplay w/ Cletus Beauchamp for that show as well. I may refer to Marcus' father being a wrestler, and some of the history, but I will not carry any of the Cletus Beauchamp stuff to another fed. But I'd really like to do a good conversation between the two before it's over.

I'm not trying to come off as a jerk or anything, but some of us actually worked hard for Unbroken. Just to have it replaced with another show for someone else's convenience is not right. I'm all for having a last show, but nobody once said during the roleplaying and writing of Unbroken that it wouldn't happen. I feel that those results should be posted instead of it "never took place". Some matches and segments were written for Unbroken, I see no viable reason for those results not to be posted. The one's not written could easily be summerised.

I understand the labors of running an efed and roleplaying in one. But there is no need to quit over a mistake like this. I know the guys here have very busy lives and they manage to make this place work. It stinks that you guys weren't able to get your show up. And nobody feels worse than the owner of an efed when that happens because it makes us look bad. The major reason why I'm such a prick to the other staff at my place. lol

My point of this message wasn't to defend anybody. I wish I could be a part of this, but we are just too busy at my place right now. However, I'd like to request permission to advertise my place here for those of you who would like to continue your writing while RCW takes a break. If not, delete this message asap and send me a pm telling me I shouldn't have posted this.

Last thing, the staff guys here lead very busy personal lives. They have this place set up perfectly the best they can around their own schedules. Sometimes things conflict with what you want to do and this game has to be altered. View it as just a game and you'll be fine...you take it too seriously and offer to quit because something conflicted with results being posted...then it is time to quit the game all together. Just my 2 cents worth....

clint, sorry to hear how u feel but once i announced that i had to take my leave from rcw and u guys saw that u and travis were the only ones still active on the boards... u took it upon urself to work hard on writing the match. as far as rping, u posted ur rp within the final 24 hours of deadline, it wasnt like u rped the minute the thread was opened.

again, sorry u feel how u do but aj and i both agree... Unbroken never took place, it got cancelled. sorry that was never actually posted as such but i would have thought that would have been assumed due to what took place.

Shaun, u can make a post on the ooc that if anyone is interested in ur fed, they can PM u for info but please dont post a link on the boards.

I really did enjoy my time in RCW. I hope you guys the best of luck wherever you end up after this show.
