SD3 Status & Rule Changes - ALL PLEASE READ!!

Hi All,

Just an update on Southern Dynamite #3 - the finished card has been given to AJ for HTML'ing and graphics. Thanks to all that have contributed.

Before the show is posted and line-ups announced for next week, AJ and I have discussed some slight modifications to the rules, and come up with the below.

The following rule comes into effect effective immediately.

-Anyone who is booked for a match, either for Southern Dynamite or Hog Heaven, and does not post any rps for their match will not be booked again, nor will any of their segments appear on a show, until 2 roleplays have been posted by that wrestler on the character development board.

Currently the following wrestlers must post 2 character development rp's before being booked on another show:

Chris Storm
Latino Lunatic
Raion

I'm sorry if anyone thinks this seems harsh, but please remember we're simulating a small, regional promotion, and there are only so many spots on one show to go around. The time-off board is there, please use it if you can not rp for a period of time.

The following rules will be put into place effective Southern Dynamite #4

- From this point forward, anyone booked in a jobber match for Southern Dynamite is asked to post at least one rp during the rp period. If they do not, they will be considered a no-show and will be subject to the above rules.

Please consider the jobber matches a showcase of what you can do. I think asking one rp in a week's time is not unreasonable, even if it is a squash match.

-Going forward, a 2 point rp bonus will be added to the first rp which scores above a 10 if it's posted by 3:30 PM CST on Friday. Both wrestlers in a match can receive this bonus.

Both AJ & I feel that these rules will help tremendously, and hopefully, you all feel the same.

Sounds good and fair, even for peeps who work or have a lot of responsibility, jotting down 2 RP's in 7 days is manageable for a hobby they enjoy.

Just out of curiosity, after RP's are judged would to be possible for that handler to see the scores/comments so they know where they can improve?

Yes, and sure. AJ and I score every competitive match, the exception being this week's action, due to the no-shows. Anyone who'd like to see their scores can do so.

And as far as comments, we don't put them with our scoring per se, but if anyone ever wants to know why they scored what they did or ask for suggestions on how they could do better, I'm always willing to answer, and I'm sure AJ is as well.

Of course, handlers are free to solicit the opinions of others on their rp's/character as well on the OOC board.

How about adding a "Feedback Board" That way people will know where to look when asking for critisim
