Into the Snake Pit: Part 1

[Pure Original]

The scene opens to show the Pure Original Chris Sinclair and his wife Denise Pelf-Sinclair in the back of a limo. Denise is curled up on Chris' lap and is running her fingers through his hair. She gives him a kiss before opening up the conversation.

DPS: So tell me again why are we here Chris?

CS: Simple Denise we are going to ask an old friend to come out to the RCW and protect you from all the Arkansas hicks. Hell if I had a real challenge this past week you could of been in real danger from those fans. Why do you think I so handedly destroyed Willy Franklin. It was also the reason I hired your brother to take our place at the press conference. AJ for some reason seems unwilling to give you or I the support we need to guarantee your safety. So now we are in the Motor City looking for an old "friend".

DPS: And who would this old "friend" be. If I didn't know you any better I would of considered Brett for the role, but it seems that he's already signed a deal with the RCW. Plus if Tiny hadn't passed away I would of thought you'd of hired him.

CS: True enough Denise, but if we were going to get Tiny I would of taken you to New York City. Think Denise who do we know in Detroit?

DPS: Oh my God, not Snake! That man is a real psycho. Are you sure you can trust him?

CS: I trust him more then I do your brother. Snake might be completely off the charts mentally, but when he's given a task he does it to the best of his ability. Plus after he assaults a few of the fans management will have no choice but to give into our demands for your safety.

DPS: So where are we meeting him? Some place neutral I hope. His house creeps me out.

CS: I tried to set up a meeting at a neutral location, but he refused to meet me outside of his house.

DPS: So in other words we are going to meet him at his house. Tell me again why you brought me along?

CS: It's real simple Denise, Snake doesn't trust anyone and he's always had a thing for you. I'm sure if your the one to ask him for protection he'll give it too you. His word is his bond, once he's agreed to give you protection then we can work on using him to our advantage in more ways then one.

DPS: If this doesn't work you owe me big time. When do we arrive?

Chris then speaks to the driver.

CS: When do arrive at our destination?

DRIVER: In a few minutes sir.

CS: Thanks. Well Denise we should prepare ourselves.

The two then kiss as the camera begins to fade out.

[Pure Original]

We rejoin the scene and see a long black limo pull up in front of a house in Suburban Detroit. The front lawn looks like it hasn't mowed in months and is covered with engine parts and old car bodies strewn through out. As the limo comes to a stop the drive steps out and makes his way toward the back of the car and opens the rear door for the Pure Original and his wife Denise. The driver holds his hand out and helps Denise from the car and then the Pure Original steps out. Once the couple is out of the Limo the driver closes the door and stands waiting for them to finish their business. The two then walk arm in arm toward the house. Once at the door Chris knocks and waits for an answer.

DPS: You sure he's expecting us? Last time we were here he was waiting on the porch for us.

CS: He's expecting us, we're probably just running early. Give him a few minutes.

DPS: I still think this is a really bad idea. Seriously can't we just hire a real bodyguard?

CS: I want someone I can truly trust to put your best interests first. Snake is just that person. He'll put your safety above his own and that is the kind of person I am looking for.

DPS: What about his connection to Brett?

CS: What connection? Last I heard those two had a bigger falling out then Brett and I did.

Just then the door swings open revealing a man standing there with a long dark beard and no shirt. The man looks from Chris and Denise and finally starts to smile as he checks her out from head to toe. After lingering his eyes on Denise he turns his attention to Chris and begins to speak.

S: What do you want Chris? The last time you and I saw you you had your fat f@@king friend Tiny beat the hell out of me and end my mother F@@king career.

CS: Sorry about that, but I really had nothing to do with Tiny's post match attack, at that point in time I really had no control over his actions. He was taking orders from Troy at that time and you know how much she hated me and anyone associated with me at that time.

S: {Laughing} Your right about that. Whatever happened to that sl@t?

DPS: That "sl@t" married my brother is expecting their first child any day now.

S: So what brings you two here?

DPS: I need your help....

Snake turns his attention from Denise and moves inches away from Chris and stares right into the Pure Original eyes before speaking again.

S: Don't make her ask me, that kind of manipulation is below you man. That is the kind of tactic I would expect from Brett and Donovan, not from you.

CS: True enough. So you want to invite us so we can get down to business?

S: First off why don't you tell me exactly what you want from me.

CS: Okay, here is the story. Denise and I joined an up and coming promotion in Arkansas. Seeing as the hicks in Arkansas have never seen a real woman before I want someone I can trust to protect her at ringside. That way I won't have to divide my attention between protecting her and beating my opponent senseless.

S: And what makes you think you can trust me?

CS: Because I know that your a man of your word. If you say you'll protect Denise then I know that is exactly what you will do. So what do you say, will you come with us down to Arkansas and protect my wife from backwater hicks?

S: On two conditions.

CS: And they would be?

S: First off I want you to completely pay off my mortgage and have a crew come in and remove all this junk I inherited when I bought the place. Secondly, I want a brand new 2008 Harley Davidson Cycle. You make those two things happen by your next booking and I'll be there. Hell I'll even shave and get a hair cut.

CS: Sounds good to me.

The two men then shake on their verbal agreement and Snake welcomes Denise and Chris into his home. As the scene begins to fade out.

[Pure Original]

We rejoin the scene as the Pure Original and his wife Denise are in the process of exiting the home of her new bodyguard Snake. Snake is seen standing in the doorway still without a shirt on. His hair looks like he attempted to comb it, but didn't manage a very good job of it. He and Chris shake hands once again and as the couple turns to leave Snake begins to speak

S: One last thing Chris.

CS: And what is that?

S: Don't expect my help in your little quarrel with Brett. I was only hired to protect Denise from the fans, not to involve myself in your matches. Brett helped me break into this business years ago and I won't turn on him. If that is what your expecting then maybe we should end this partnership before it gets started.

CS: I can repect that, but I expect you to stop him if he goes after Denise.

S: Okay if Brett goes after Denise I will lay him out like there is no tomorrow, but only if he goes after Denise.

CS: As long as we understand each other. We'll pick you up once we take care of some business north of the border.

S: Sounds good, so when can I expect the crew to clean this place up?

CS: Soon as you hire them, send all the bills to my place and Johnny will look after it.

S: So is Johnny like your lawyer or something?

CS: Something like that. Considering Behind the Desk went belly up a few months ago.

S: That would explain why I haven't seen it on lately, I just thought he was between feds.

CS: The Fight Network picked him up for a few months, but cut the funding when the ratings didn't spike. Anyway Denise and I have a plane to catch. I'll call you in a few days and let you know what's going on.

S: Sounds good, talk to you soon.

The two men shake hands and then Chris and Denise turn and finally make their way back to the limo. As they approach the driver opens the door and helps Denise into the car. As he is entering the limo Chris turns his attention back to the house and finds no sign of Snake. Chris shakes his head and climbs into the limo. The driver closes the door behind him and makes his way to the driver's door. The scene then flips to an interior view of the limo and we find Chris and Denise seated in the back of the limo. He has his arm around her and the two are cuddling together.

DPS: So tell me again why you think this is a good idea?

CS: It's a good idea because we know we can trust him completely. Like I said earlier he'll put your safety above his own. He's always been that way.

DPS: I just hope your right on this one Chris. So what business do we have "North of the Border." I don't think I've ever heard you referance Canada in that way.

CS: Well I for starters I know you want to be home before Troy gives birth, but before we make it home there is someone I want to talk to in Kingston. So once we land in Toronto we are going to Kingston then home.

DPS: If we already hired Snake why do we have to stop in Kingston?

CS: That is surprize that will have to wait until we get there.

The two then kiss as the camera fades to black.
