'At the beginning of careers, decisions are made. Everyone starts off the same. For it doesn't matter who you are or where you've been, gaining honor and respect requires integrity.
The beginning of the book of Genesis records that (1) In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (2) The earth was without form, and void: and dearkness was on the face of the deep.
And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. (3)Then God said, 'Let there be light'; and there was light. (4)And God saw the light, and that it was good; God divided the light from the darkness.'
Just imagine for a second that moment before that kind voice spoke and brought forth life. Imagine that the darkness represents for a moment that at one time there was nothing. Absolutely nothing. No hope, no future, no dream, no reality, just nothing. That is what it feels like for the new guy stepping out for the first time. That this is all or nothing. Obviously nothing comes for free. All good things have thier price. To qualify, risks must be made as well as sacrifices. Starting off, you can't trust people, because they fail you and lie to you and look out for themselves. You have to Trust in the Lord. Trusting in The Lord will give you the peace that surpasses ALL understanding. And to those who refuse to give in, will be rewarded with the victor's crown. Keep in mind, however, that winning is not everything. One day, if you are faitful, you will toss your crown before the feet of The Lord and kneel before Him. Ask him to examine you, cleanse you, and make you Holy so that he can deem you can bee deemed worthy when He comes down from Zion's hill. In His most precious name, Amen.
(There is such a man making his first steps into the world of prowrestling. An industry polluted with pride, egotism and self-seeking. And over the past few decades or so, becoming increasingly perverse, to the point you sometimes don't know if you are watching a wrestling show, or a satanic covent's service or even a porno flick. Indeed, it is a dark industry filled with lust and every evil thing. However, that is a representation of darkness. A representation of the corruption and evil that has clouded this world with confusion and self-seeking and every perversion. We need only examine the book of Judges when the man and his concubine stop off at the father-in-law's house for a few days and finally, just as they are about to leave, a gang of homosexuals knock on the door asking to see the man visiting there. thier hearts filled with cruelty and self-seeking, you know what they are after. The man offers them the concubine instead. The band of homosexuals gang-rape the woman to her death. The next morning, the concubine's 'pimp' as we would say in our age walks by her and simply says 'Get up, it's time to go'. the woman is lying against the door post dead. What does the man do in reponse? He cuts her up and leaves her remains all over town telling everyon 'You wanted a piece? Here you go!' Just a few days later, that same man came to that town with an army and destroyed that entire town and everyone in it instead of accepting his responsibility as a man to have protected that woman in the first place. Everyone wants a prize. Everyone wants a crown. But there is only one in the wrestling world. Who can truly gain it? There are hearts and minds to be won, but who can truly do it? We as people mistakenly measure our sucess by the amount of money we make or by what car we drive or by fame and fortune. Is this man qualified to do this? Is he qualified to set that example that sorely needs to be set in order to show by example those who are lost in a world of suffereing and pain hope? That light in the darkness?)
